Overview
NEW YORK, NY — Runway 7, the acclaimed fashion production platform, marked its ninth season at Sony Hall during New York Fashion Week (NYFW) from Wednesday, September 10 through Sunday, September 14, 2025. The event program featured 130 designers from more than 20 countries. They presented couture, streetwear, sustainability, swimwear, and ready-to-wear across five days.
Opening night with Elysian Magazine combined fashion and activism. The evening included a documentary screening and tributes to NYC animal welfare groups. NYFW 2025 showcased an inspiring array of collections. These designers integrated modern trends, delivering powerful and innovative statements.
- Beyond crafted daring silhouettes with vivid graphics and textures. The brand explored contrasts between light and dark while blending romance with an edgy detachment.
- Paolina Cattorini presented the Legacy & Inheritance capsule. She honored cultural roots through enveloping forms, unique textiles, and handmade finishes.
- Tokyoba’s SS25 Echoes of Nostalgia fused 2000s pop culture with futuristic streetwear. Denim, knitwear, leather, and soft pinks delivered a playful nod to the past.
- 9MM embraced an anti-establishment spirit. Dominant black and grey tones, bold forms, and metallic accents like chains and studs defied conventions.
- Tivoglio by Jacqueline Leoncini redefined bold femininity. She used innovative fabrics enhanced with glitter, embroidery, and transparencies. The collection paired ready-to-wear with striking footwear.
- Momma Boss Swim&Sport empowered women by merging fitness and fashion. Vegan leather with matte and shiny finishes defined the line.
- Natalia Fedner pioneered patented metal textiles that sculpted the body. She balanced artistry with sensuality and combined power with delicacy.
- Romain Thevenin Paris presented avant-garde couture with surprising textures, innovative accents, and a dark, energetic Parisian essence.
Event Structure
Runway 7 transformed Sony Hall at 235 W 46th St, New York, into a bustling international fashion epicenter. Organizers scheduled up to six shows daily at 11 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM, 5 PM, 7 PM, and 9 PM from September 10 to 14.
Charity Efforts
In addition to Project Lab Coat’s focus on Lyme disease, Runway 7 expanded its charitable contributions.
A joint effort with Mount Sinai’s Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center included a white coat runway presentation. The initiative raised awareness and secured funding for multiple sclerosis research.
The third-annual CatWalk FurBaby initiative synchronized with Elysian Magazine’s documentary on opening night. This event paid tribute to animal welfare charities by merging high fashion with meaningful advocacy.
